Setting goals is a powerful way to shape your future and live your best life.
Let’s dive in with this easy-to-follow workshop!

Supplies You’ll Need
A Pump-You-Up Song: Pick your favorite tune that makes you feel unstoppable.
A Journal: A notebook or even a few sheets of paper will do.
A Pencil or Pen: Time to get those ideas down!
Step 1: Get in the Zone
Start by putting on your favorite pump-you-up song. You know, the one that makes you feel like you can conquer the world! While the music plays, think about everything you are grateful for—friends, family, opportunities, or even that great snack you had yesterday. Then, recall moments when you absolutely crushed it, whether it was landing that big client, acing a test, nailing a soccer game, or being a great friend.
Feel that confidence? Hold onto it—it’s your superpower for this workshop.
Step 2: Dream Big
Grab your journal and write a list of 10 things you want to accomplish in the next 12 months. These could be anything from learning a new skill, improving your grades, joining a team, or saving up for something special.
Here’s the secret: write each goal using positive words. Instead of saying, “Stop procrastinating,” write, “Stay focused and finish each task that I start.” Positive language helps you connect with keywords of the actions that you want.
Step 3: Choose Your Game-Changer
Now, look at your list and pick the one goal that would have the biggest impact on your life. Got it? Perfect. Next, write down three reasons why this goal will revolutionize your life.
For example:
It will help me feel proud and confident.
It will open new doors for my future.
It will inspire others around me to aim high too.
Step 4: Write a SMART Goal
A SMART goal is:
Specific: Clear and detailed.
Measurable: Something you can track.
Achievable: Challenging but realistic.
Relevant: Connected to your bigger dreams.
Time-bound: Has a deadline.
Write your SMART goal on a notecard, including the actions you’ll take to make it happen.
For example:
"I will save $100 every week by setting aside $20 each day from Monday to Friday, only making necessary purchases, and transferring the saved amount to a separate savings account every Friday for the next 52 weeks."
Step 5: See It to Believe It
Read your note card twice a day—once in the morning and once at night. As you read it, visualize yourself achieving your goal. Imagine how excited and proud you’ll feel. Visualization trains your brain to believe in success, which motivates you to take action.
Wrap-Up
Goal-setting is like planting seeds for the life you want. By dreaming big, staying positive, and taking action, you can achieve amazing things. Remember, you’re capable of slaying your goals and living your best life. Now, go crush it!
What’s your top goal? Start today—your future self will thank you. 🌟
